With the latest lockdown situation, life has been very quiet for Beau since we moved back home. Restricted daily times at the yard means he has been having a relaxing, well deserved break out in the field with his friends since and is loving his new life as a zebra!
He was never turned out at the sales yard where he was for about a year and just has the sand pen at uni so I think he enjoying the freedom. We have been doing some short lungeing sessions a few times a week when we can just to keep his fitness at a reasonable level. He has always seemed a little unsettled with lungeing off the bridle so I tried lungeing off a plain cavesson to see if it made a difference and he has started to respond really well to it and has noticeably developed a more consistent, long and low relaxed frame so we have been working on this.
Fingers crossed we will soon be able to crack on with our ridden work soon!
