Today, we managed our first 'proper' hack all the way down the bridlepath around the uni's fields. Beau can be quite a nervous horse in some situations and I have been told that he used to be difficult to hack on his own so we have taken it slowly, just doing a few short walks and getting a little further each time.
He seemed to enjoy his hack in the lovely weather today, although he did find many 'scary' things out there, especially the little pug we walked past which nearly had him running home!
I'm hoping to get him out and about a bit more now so he can get used to all the scary things out there and start to relax a bit more.
